This Privacy Policy explains how NOX Architecture & Interior Design (“NOX”, “we”, “us”), Dubai, United Arab Emirates · info@nox-arch.com processes personal data in its capacity as data controller under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “PDPL”) and its implementing regulations.
Data we collect
Contact and enquiry data you provide through our meeting-request and contact forms: your email address and mobile telephone number, and any details you include in your message.
Newsletter data: your email address, if you subscribe.
Technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to operate the website.
Purposes and legal basis
We process personal data to respond to your enquiries and arrange meetings, to provide and manage our architecture and interior design services, to send communications you request, and to comply with our legal obligations.
Under Article 4 of the PDPL, processing requires the data subject’s consent unless an exception applies. We rely on your consent (for the newsletter and enquiry forms), on the necessity of processing for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, and on compliance with legal obligations.
Sharing and cross-border transfers
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who host the website and deliver our communications, and with public authorities where required by law.
Some providers are located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad we rely on Articles 22 and 23 of the PDPL — transfer to a jurisdiction the UAE Data Office recognises as providing an adequate level of protection, appropriate contractual safeguards, or your explicit consent.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes above and for the periods required by applicable law, after which it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Articles 13 to 19 of the PDPL you have the right to be informed about how your data is processed, to access it and request a copy, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to object to decisions based solely on automated processing.
To exercise these rights, contact us at info@nox-arch.com. We respond within the periods set by the PDPL.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, in line with our obligations under Article 20 of the PDPL.
